The German pronunciation of "weiss" sounds like "vise" and just like a pair of locking pliers, the idea of producing a classic German wheat beer (weissbier) took a hold of Confluence brewer, Kent Middendorf, and wouldn't let go. Led by Kent, the team dove headfirst into researching this ancient style of beer and eventually put together a recipe intended to pay homage to the great traditionalist breweries of Bavaria. Upon opening this can, you'll be met by an aroma rich with banana and clove. Those heady aromas carry through to the flavor, and balanced against the earthy and bready malts, provide a refreshing experience that has been enjoyed by millions throughout the centuries.
