When humans first began brewing beer, the science behind fermentation was not well understood and probably seemed a bit like magic. It's likely that in those early days, microbes from the air and their wooden vessels would inoculate the wort, meaning at one time, all bear was sour beer! In conjuring up a plan for this ale, we honored that natural sort of magic by culturing lactobacillus to quickly sour the whole batch.
The resulting brew retains the magic of those bygone days, with a citrus-like tartness that awakens and refreshes your palate with each sip. Of course, any wizard worth the name has more than one trip up their sleeve. In this case, The Wizard has summoned a veritable ocean of oranges alongside a bountiful bonanza of vanilla beans to create a creamy and reamy tonic guaranteed to amaze and delight.
