The month of May is a natural time to look to the future, especially in Iowa where farmers perform their annual act of faith by planting new crops. It is also time for communities of every size to stop and remember fallen veterans on Memorial Day. At Confluence, we like to commemorate these annual rites with our version of a traditional late-spring bock. We combined premium pilsner, German Munich, and cara-Munich malts for richness and depth of flavor. The addition of German noble hops proves a subtle bite for balance and German lager yeast yields a true-to-style finish. The result is a hoppy, amber salute to the month of May. This beer is released on May 1st each year in limited quantities, so get it while it lasts!

Enjoy a glass in the taproom and don't forget to grab a 4-pack to take home to enjoy. Distribution across Iowa will begin on Monday, May 4th.
